JAMB 2025: Mock Exam Reprint and Examination Date Announced

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the dates for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and provided guidelines for candidates to reprint their examination slips. This initiative aims to ensure that all candidates are well-prepared and informed ahead of the examination.
Mock Examination Date:
The 2025 Mock UTME is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025. This optional examination serves as a preparatory platform for candidates to familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment and assess their readiness for the main UTME.
Eligibility for the Mock Examination:
To be eligible for the mock exam, candidates must have indicated their interest during the UTME registration process and paid the additional fee associated with the mock test. This ensures that only those who are genuinely interested and have made the necessary arrangements participate in the mock examination.
Mock Examination Slip Reprint Date:
Candidates registered for the mock examination can start reprinting their examination slips from March 15, 2025. The slip contains vital information such as the examination date, time, venue, and seat number. It is imperative for candidates to have this slip to gain access to the examination center.
Steps to Reprint the Mock Examination Slip:
1. Visit the JAMB Slip Reprinting Portal:
Navigate to the official JAMB slip reprinting portal at https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintMockExaminationSlip.
2. Enter Your Details:
Provide your JAMB registration number, email address, or the phone number used during registration in the designated field.
3. Print Your Examination Slip:
After entering your details, click on the "Print Examination Slip" button.
Ensure your browser allows pop-ups, as the slip will appear in a new window.
Download and print the slip. It is advisable to print multiple copies for backup purposes.
Important Notes:
Accuracy of Information: After printing, verify that all personal details, examination date, time, and venue are correctly stated on the slip. If discrepancies are found, contact JAMB support promptly for rectification.
Mock Examination Fee: Candidates who opted to participate in the mock examination are required to pay a service charge of ₦1,500 to the CBT center where they will sit for the examination. This fee is separate from the UTME registration fee.
Main UTME Examination Dates:
Following the mock examination, the main UTME is slated to occur from April 25, 2025, to May 5, 2025. Candidates are advised to stay updated on any further announcements from JAMB regarding the main examination.
Preparation Tips:
Utilize the Mock Exam: Use the mock examination as an opportunity to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
Study Materials: Ensure all recommended texts, including the compulsory novel "The Life Changer" by Khadija A. Jalli, are thoroughly reviewed.
Time Management: Develop effective time management strategies to navigate the CBT format efficiently.
Familiarize with the CBT Environment: If unfamiliar with computer-based tests, consider practicing with online CBT simulators to build confidence.
By adhering to these guidelines and adequately preparing, candidates can approach both the mock and main UTME examinations with confidence and the necessary knowledge to excel.
